Dental Care

Your pet’s oral health is directly connected to their overall health. Signs of dental disease include bad breath, loose or broken teeth, red, inflamed, or bleeding gums, difficulty or pain when chewing, pawing at the mouth, and excessive drooling. We check the oral cavity of our patients during physical examinations and will advise if we recommend professional teeth cleaning.

We also recommend that pet owners make at-home dental care a priority. Some pets will accept having their teeth brushed at home while others will not, but even for those who will not tolerate it, there are plenty of options. Please contact our team for more information about at-home dental care.
