Here are some questions/answers that we are frequently asked. If you have additional questions that aren’t covered here, please feel free to give us a call at 925-829-PAWS (7297)

1. What are the Hospital hours?

Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm,
Fridays 8am-5pm &
Closed Saturdays & Sundays.

2. Do I need to an appointment?

To ensure the best possible healthcare experience we highly suggest scheduling an appointment in advance. We do not accept walk-in appointments at this time.

3. What does an appointment involve?

Appointments are generally 20 minutes in length. We will obtain your pet’s weight and temperature. A Four Paws Veterinarian will receive a patient medical history, perform a thorough physical examination and offer healthcare recommendations in a simple and easy to understand manner.

4. What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover and CareCredit.

5. Do you offer grooming?

We do not offer routine grooming services at this time.

6. Can I make payments?
Payment is due at the time of service.
7. Do you board pets?

We do not offer boarding services at this time.

8. Do you see afterhours emergencies?

We do not offer afterhours emergency services at this time.

9. At what age should I have my pet spayed or neutered?

Spaying or neutering can be done at approximately 6-8 months of age. There has been no research linking any health problems to early spay or neutering. Not spaying or neutering your pet increases their risk of cancers, infections and behavioral problems.
