There are a number of common plants which may be toxic to dogs and cats and should be avoided.

Found below is a list of some of the most common plants deemed toxic to dogs and cats. Thankfully, most of the plants mentioned are bitter tasting or are otherwise unappealing such that most pets would avoid consuming the amounts needed to cause a poisoning. That said, avoidance is likely the safest route.
